Jisp app saves shoppers over £265,000

Leading shopping and rewards app Jisp said it has helped shoppers save over £265,000 with its Scan & Save feature achieving 366,724 scans, 226,831 vouchers issued, and 202,420 redemptions since the launch in September last year.

This represents industry-leading conversion rates between scan to voucher issued at 62 per cent and voucher issued to redemption of 89 per cent, the company noted.

Jisp provides discounts to shoppers based on the brands they love, driving increased sales in-store, and rewarding the shopper and retailer simultaneously. Working directly with brands and their products, a shopper discount can be identified and embedded digitally using in-store barcodes on packs or shelves.

“We are delighted to help shoppers save over £265,000 to date with our money-saving and rewards app,” Greg Deacon, chief customer officer, Jisp said.

“We know shoppers are facing increases of over £400 annually in grocery bills. However, we are working with brands and retailers to help all fight inflation right now in a sustainable and measurable way.”

Scan & Save stores are benefiting from shoppers accessing brand discounts and being rewarded for doing so by using their mobile phones in-store. The average shopper redemption per visit is 2.57 items and average saving per visit is £3.22. However, Jisp’s most loyal shoppers using the reward scheme are visiting 3x more than the average user and adding 2 more items per visit.

“200 stores and growing weekly are seeking out Jisp to provide an exclusive way of shopping and obtaining discounts through our Scan & Save solution which features the first augmented reality technology. Making the ‘Metaverse’ consumable adds to the experience for shoppers using their mobile device in-store. The growth is exceptional, shopper adoption is quick and over 73 per cent are repeat customers,” Deacon added.

Retailers with Jisp can build store loyalty every time shoppers use Scan & Save and redeem products, with Jisp promoting leading promotions in-app and online to drive shoppers to their local Scan & Save store. In addition, Jisp will provide exclusive 24hr deals and reward shoppers for referring friends and family to help them save monies and increase loyalty.

“Our growth with Nisa is exceptional, we are piloting with Booker and soon to be Bestway Retail,” Deacon revealed.

“In addition, come September non-affiliated independents will bring exclusive savings to shoppers locally through our exciting partnership with Payzone, enabling them all to grow sales, footfall and loyalty. This will help their shoppers combat the current cost of living crisis head-on. Jisp aims to be the number one money-saving and rewards app. With the support of retailers, brands, wholesalers, and shoppers, we believe this will be achieved and will make an enormous difference to all in the sector.”
