Plant-based meat company Jack & Bry has unveiled a new brand identity in honour of selling 20 million jackfruit pepperoni slices since its launch last year.

The vegan food provider is renowned for creating the world’s first jackfruit pepperoni in 2019 due to the dominance of powdered soy, pea, gluten and mycoprotein in the meat substitute market.

Targeting the growing flexitarian market, the brand offers an alternative for consumers through a range of meat-free meats that is flavourful, source of fibre and nutritious (GMO free and palm oil free).

Jack & Bry’s extensive range includes chorizo, ham, bacon, sausages burgers, beefy mince, meatballs, chicken nuggets, tuna and fish fingers, all made from jackfruit.

The company has partnerships with Zizzi and Papa John’s and has put taste at the forefront of its new visual identity.

Bryony Tinn-Disbury, founder and CEO of Jack & Bry, said: “We’re thrilled to roll out a new visual identity that captures our confidence as a brand while showing our customers that we still have a sense of fun.

“Our focus has always been on creating the most delicious meat-free meat on the planet and the bold red and pink brings to mind the taste and texture of the food we’re known for.

“We’ve now sold more than 20 million pepperoni slices and we keep innovating, we only use the jackfruit flesh and not a powdered substitute as our core ingredient. So we’re very excited for the future and our plans to expand globally.

“We have created a brand identity to amplify the distinctive and delicious flavour of jackfruit while also highlighting our playfulness and personality as a brand.”
