Harrogate Spring Water has teamed up with British comedian, presenter and writer, Tom Allen, and master water sommelier, Milin Patel. They will bring to life the brands’ 450-year heritage with a slice of British sophistication, while raising awareness of the importance of hydration for the body and mind.

The brand is launching its new campaign, Good Taste Since 1571, which heroes its longstanding prestige with a slice of quintessential wit, with the partnership with Royal Ascot offering the perfect platform given its synonymity with heritage and refinement.


The Harrogate Spring Bar has returned to Royal Ascot for its fourth year offering a wide variety of mocktails, and of course its fine still and sparkling. “To bring to life the essence” of the brand and ensure racegoers enjoy every moment, Harrogate Spring Water are encouraging guests to ‘Refresh their Rounds’ adding its water or a delicious mocktail into their beverage line up.

In 2024, over half the nation chose to drink more mindfully with almost half of UK's Gen Z's living alcohol-free. In support of this more mindful approach to drinking, Harrogate Spring Water has also launched its 2025 signature mocktail ‘The Ascot Julep Sprint’ (0.0%).

This minty and refreshing mocktail “delivers timeless craft and provides the ultimate refreshment” with every sip for an elevated and refined hydration moment. The Ascot Julep Sprint (0.0%) is available throughout Ascot on race days year-round, including The Royal Meeting. This is the first time Harrogate Spring Water’s official signature mocktail is on the official Ascot line up.

As part of the new campaign, ‘Good Taste, Since 1571’, Harrogate Spring Water has partnered with Tom Allen and Milin Patel to host a water tasting and mocktail demonstration at the Harrogate Spring Bar. Guests would be able to learn all about the composition, quality and taste profile of Harrogate Spring Water, drawn from 88 hydro-geologically unique springs in the ‘Original British Spa town’.

“In today’s fast-paced world, certain moments deserve to be refined, elevated and enjoyed. It’s key that people understand the importance of hydration, and it’s fantastic to see the work Harrogate are doing to bring this to life,” Milin Patel said.

As part of Harrogate Spring Water’s commitment to improve recycling, they are encouraging racegoers to ‘Twist it. Cap it. Recycle it’. Through a joint closed loop recycling initiative with Ascot Racecourse, all PET plastic bottles collected will be recycled to produce new bottles, creating a circular system. All of the bottles in the Harrogate Spring Water portfolio, excluding cap and label, are recyclable.
