British Asian Trust appoints Haider Choudrey as Fellow

The British Asian Trust has announced the appointment of The Honourable Haider Zameer Choudrey FCA, as the latest member of its Fellow group. He joins a distinguished group of Fellows including Manoj Badale OBE, Aatif Hassan, Tom Singh OBE and Chris Mathias.

Haider Choudrey is Chief Executive Officer of Bestway Group and a committed philanthropist whose work is deeply rooted in the Bestway Group’s long-standing commitment to charitable giving. As a Trustee of the Bestway Foundation, Haider has supported a wide range of initiatives that focus on delivering real, measurable impact centred on education, health, poverty relief and community development.


His dedication to philanthropy is informed by a strong academic grounding, having studied at Eton College and the University of Cambridge. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is widely regarded for combining disciplined leadership with a strong sense of social responsibility.

The Honourable Haider Zameer Choudrey said: “Our philanthropic work has taught us that real change comes from partnerships built on trust, innovation and accountability.
