Vape brand Geekvape has chosen an unconventional way to celebrate its 10th anniversary, revealing that its flag was planted on the summit of Mount Everest earlier this year following months of preparation and a full expedition to the world’s highest peak.
According to the company, the Everest ascent involved nearly six months of planning, three months of training and two weeks of climbing, with a focus on endurance, discipline and risk management in extreme conditions. Geekvape said the climb was intended as a real-world test rather than a symbolic gesture, reflecting the values that have shaped its development over the past decade.
The firm drew parallels between the challenges of high-altitude climbing and its product philosophy, emphasising long-term preparation, testing and refinement rather than “shortcuts or rushed victories”. It said the same mindset underpins its approach to device design and durability.
The Everest expedition also inspired the launch of the Legend 5 10th Anniversary Limited Edition, which serves as the official closing release of Geekvape’s anniversary year. Produced in strictly limited quantities, the device features what the company calls an “Everest Sunrise” colour palette, drawing on the golden and silver tones seen at dawn on the mountain’s snow-covered peaks.
Design details include a leather exterior engraved with Everest’s real contour lines, mountain silhouette and climbing routes, intended to give users a tactile connection to the ascent. Geekvape said the raised and recessed textures mirror the physical geography of the mountain, while a compass included in the packaging reinforces the theme of direction, preparation and persistence.

The company described the limited edition as both a celebration of its first decade and a statement of intent for the future. “Just as Everest represents the ultimate test of human endurance, the Legend 5 represents the pinnacle of Geekvape’s first decade,” it said, adding that the summit marks not only the end of one journey, but the starting point of another for the brand.
The Everest summit follows a series of high-profile global events marking Geekvape’s 10th anniversary throughout 2025. In September, the company hosted GeekFest Paris, a landmark celebration attended by more than 300 partners, retailers and fans at the Bridge Club on the Seine, where it unveiled a new global visual identity and showcased its latest innovations.
Earlier in the summer, the brand staged a two-day anniversary event at Nürburgring in Germany, bringing together international partners on June 21–22 for a motorsport-themed showcase that combined high-performance racing with next-generation vaping technology.
