Plant-based food brand Follow Your Heart has secured new listings for three of its popular offerings in UK Tesco stores.

From the 10th of July, Tesco began selling Follow Your Heart’s award-winning Original Vegenaise in over 550 stores and their Smoked Gouda and Medium Cheddar Slices in 300 stores.

This extension comes as the trend towards plant-based eating continues to boom in the UK, along with sales of Follow Your Heart increased in 2019.

Mintel reported that a quarter (25%) of young British millennials (aged 21-30), and over one in ten (12%) of all Brits say that the COVID-19 pandemic has made a vegan diet more appealing[1], giving Tesco all the more reason to strengthen its plant-based offering.

Follow Yourt Hearts, Original Veganaise, Smoked Gouda and Medium Cheddar Slices are available in selected Tesco stores

The Californian brand is sold in more than 40 countries and first launched in the UK back in 2015 and has gone from strength to strength since then.

Products by the company are available at retailers including Ocado, Sainsbury’s, Holland & Barrett, Whole Foods Market, Planet Organic, The Vegan Kind and other independent and natural food stores.
