Fairfields Farm Crisps launches Coronation Chicken flavour

Family-run crisp brand Fairfields Farm are set to add a touch of royal sparkle to British summer snacking with their brand-new, limited-edition Coronation Chicken flavour crisps.

The sharing-size crisps are a spookily accurate depiction of the picnic favourite side dish, which was originally created to celebrate the Queen’s coronation in 1953. In developing this product, the team at Fairfields Farm remained true to their dairy-free, meat-free and gluten-free approach to their crisps, which are all hand-cooked on the farm using potatoes grown there.

“We had a lot of fun making these,” said Co-founder Laura Strathern. “There’s spiciness, the sweetness from the sultanas and chutney and a gentle creaminess that make them a bit of a show-stopper and talking point. Plus, the purple packaging looks fab – fit for any garden party!”

Her co-founder husband Robert added: “We all deserve a bit of a knees up after the last few years, so we had to make the perfect crisps for the great British summer.”

They will be available in 150g sharing bags at fairfieldsfarmcrisps.co.uk. They can also be found in East of England Co-op stores as well as various farm shops and independent retailers nationwide.
