Epicurium, the premium snacking wholesaler, is entering the seasonal gifting market for the first time, giving retailers access to a range of premium, dietary-conscious and ethically positioned treats ahead of Christmas.
Its 25-strong range features seasonal bestsellers from Tony’s Chocolonely, Joe & Seph’s, Mr Filbert’s, Buttermilk and Mummy Meegz, spanning sharing treats, gifting lines and advent calendars.
Offering margins ranging from 41% to 70%, the Epicurium team has curated the selection to help retailers offer premium Christmas products that complement the existing fixture.
It includes treat bars like Tony's Chocolonely Milk Chocolate Gingerbread (15x180g, RRP £4.75) and Joe & Seph's Festive Popcorn Slab Salted Caramel with Milk & White Chocolate (14x115g, RRP £8), which are aimed at shoppers looking for seasonal treats to enjoy with friends.
A four-strong range of fudges from Buttermilk, available in Irish Cream, Mince Pie, Gingerbread and Caramel Sea Salt are similarly aimed at festive sharing (7x100g, RRP £2.99).
There are also gift selections, such as Tony's Chocolonely Rainbow Tasting Pack 18x (8x47g, RRP £10.50), Joe & Seph's Very Merry Popcorn Selection Star (5x120g, RRP £8), and two sizes of Mix Box from Buttermilk, RRP £12.99. A duo of stand-out crackers from Mummy Meegz in Choccy Balls (6x118g) and M'z Gems varieties (6x192g), RRP £5.75, cater for vegan and gluten-free shoppers but also appeal to premium chocolate shoppers more broadly.
Epicurium is also introducing a trio of advent calendars at three distinct price points for retailers to plug any value gaps in their range. These include Mummy Meegz Vegan Chocolate Advent Calendar (6x168g, RRP £5.75), Tony's Chocolonely Countdown Calendar (12x225g, RRP £16.99) and Joe & Seph's Gourmet Popcorn Advent Calendar (5x175g, RRP £30).
In savoury, there’s a six-strong Mr Filbert’s Tins selection, including Provençal Style Rosemary Almonds and Indonesian Inspired Salt & Pepper (6x235g, RRP £14.95); Moroccan Style Harissa and Mediterranean Herb Inspired (6x140g, RRP £9.95); A Classic Salt & Pepper (12x70g, RRP £9.95) and a Californian Smokehouse Almonds (12x70g, RRP £5.95).
Finally, rounding off the range, a duo of sweet popcorn festive sharing Nut Mix bags from Mr Filbert’s in Salted Caramel and Chocolate Orange flavours (15x75g, RRP £2.35) and two savoury varieties – Woodland Truffle & Wild Garlic and Roasted Nuts & Plump Fruits (12x150g, RRP £4.15) – offer a unique twist for seasonal gatherings and Christmas treat buffets.
Commenting on the launch, Ben McKechnie, managing director at Epicurium, said: “While our year-round focus at Epicurium remains healthier snacking, at Christmas the space for this category naturally shrinks in stores as retailers focus on meeting customer demand for sweets, boxed chocolates and confectionery gifts.
“We challenged our team to create a seasonal gifting range that is distinctively ‘Epicurium’. We’re offering a curated core of proven strong sellers from premium brand partners that will help retailers drive higher margins.”
