Dunkin Donuts added to One Stop’s line up of top brands

The USA’s famed Dunkin Donuts are now available in 300 One Stop stores across the UK.

They will be joining One Stop’s growing line-up of global brands, which will help drive footfall into store and give the convenience store retailer a competitive edge. The introduction of the US-headquartered brand follows a successful trial in 15 One Stop stores where the donuts went down a storm with customers.

“Local convenience stores are the ideal places to pop in and grab purchases like the donuts and customers have been thrilled to see them in store,” said Sam Watkins, Head of Product. “They will join the recent additions of Robinsons Fruit Ice Drinks, Costa Coffee and other ‘on the go’ items which makes our fast-paced lives a little easier.

“We’ll be rolling out the donuts to our franchise stores in the next couple of months, so this will be exciting news for them and another great reason for potential franchisees to join us as we work tirelessly to deliver the very best products and services.”

The Dunkin Donuts currently being sold in the One Stop stores are the Boston Crème double pack (£2.75) and the twin pack Strawberry Frosted Ring Rainbow Set (£2.75). There is also a four-pack available at a cost of £4.75.

The story of Dunkin Donuts began in 1948 with a donut and coffee restaurant in Quincy, Massachusetts called “Open Kettle”. Founder William Rosenberg’s goal was to “make and serve the freshest, most delicious coffee and donuts quickly and courteously in modern, well-merchandised stores.”
