Colman’s to ‘Bring the Heat’ for festive fixtures

Mustard brand Colman’s is reigniting its historical partnership with Norwich City FC to “Bring the heat” for the Canaries’ festive fixtures.

The Bring the Heat theme celebrates the hot and spicy flavours of Colman’s English mustard and the rich local heritage of the original English mustard brand, which is still processed in Norwich.

Supporter giveaways and video content are the headline features of the partnership, as Colman’s will help to heat up the atmosphere for the hectic run of games, which begins with the East Anglian Derby, known as the ‘Old Farm’ on December 16.

Founded in Norwich in 1814, Colman’s has been at the heart of British mealtimes for over 200 years and its association with the football club includes a previous front-of-shirt sponsorship.

Now the Unilever brand is back behind the Canaries and helping to add its own dash of fiery heat to a much-anticipated spell of the football calendar.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Norwich City once again, in what is the time of year most synonymous with Colman’s,” said Aimee Thomason, Senior Brand Manager at Colman’s. “We’re excited to bring the heat and create an electric atmosphere around the club and the supporters ahead of the Old Farm Derby and the ensuing games.”

Norwich City Head of Partnerships, Jonathan Casbon, added, “We are excited to welcome back Colman’s on board as an official partner. They have an iconic status with Norwich City FC and we still see many nostalgic fans around the city wearing our past shirts emblazoned with the Colman’s logo.

“The ‘Bring the Heat’ campaign perfectly captures the intensity and excitement that surrounds the busy festive football period, and we look forward to seeing Colman’s engage with our passionate supporter base once again.”
