    Charles Artisan Bread launches in-house jam

    Charles Artisan Bread, a Clapton-based micro bakery, has added a new product to Charles’ shop, introducing its first Jam.

    The Charles’ Strawberry Jam includes just three ingredients, strawberries, sugar and citric acid, keeping the product as simple and natural as possible.

    The new product will sit alongside the bakery’s own Granola, which was launched last year.

    “We’re so excited to release our second product of the Charles’ shop, the Charles’ Strawberry Jam,” Daniel Burke, director and head-baker at Charles Artisan Bread, said.

    “Following the positive feedback we’ve received from our first product, the Charles’ Granola, we’re excited to continue to expand our in-house range. We want to continue in our mission to povide simple, honest and no fuss products and freshly baked goods everyday.”

    Championing its East London origin, the bakery also stocks several local products including Honey from Hackney Garden Honey, Vegan Cheese from I AM NUT UK, Chilli Sauces from Dalston Chillies, and other delicatessen.

    The jam is available to buy in store and on the website (RRP: £5).
