Burts’ Maple Pigs in Blankets potato chips to return for Christmas 2023

Burts’ Maple Pigs in Blankets potato chips

Award-winning snack maker, Burts, is re-introducing its festive-themed Maple Pigs in Blankets potato chips for 2023. Following high demand of this limited-edition flavour in past years, packs will newly be available on Amazon for 2023 and at selected retailers from now onwards.

Diversifying flavours with festive-themed products at a seasonal time is vital for brands to entice buyers and expand on sales during the festive period. The return of Burts’ small-batch Maple Pigs in Blankets aligns with consumer snacking trends, as 70% of consumers opt for crisps and savoury snacks during communal occasions.

With provenance being of the utmost importance to Burts, the 40g packs of hand-cooked potato chips are made with care in Devon. Using locally sourced potatoes from suppliers based in the South West, the packs combine smokey sausage and bacon with a touch of sweet maple glaze. The range is gluten-free, free from added MSG, artificial colours and flavours, making them an ideal choice for festive snacking.

Commenting on the flavour’s return, Dave McNulty, CEO of Burts Chips, said: “Bringing back our Maple Pigs in Blankets potato chips for the festive season exemplifies our commitment to consumer snacking trends. We endeavour to combine our South West roots with innovation, offering a unique flavour experience that perfectly captures the spirit of Christmas. At Burts, we continuously strive to delight our customers with innovative, high-quality potato snacks that add joy to their celebrations, as much as it does to ours.”
