Brothers Cider unveils new Raspberry Ripple Flavour

Brothers Cider unveils new Raspberry Ripple Flavour

Somerset-based Brothers Drinks Co., maker of the Brothers Cider brand renowned for its innovative fruit flavours, is to continue its tradition of introducing a weird and wonderful flavour to the category each year with the launch of Brothers Raspberry Ripple.

This latest variant is a delicious combination of raspberry flavour with a delicate swirl of vanilla, and is best served chilled over ice. Introducing this classic ice-cream flavour to the cider category will help independents tap into consumer excitement around summer socialising occasions.

Available in 500ml and 330ml glass bottles, and in 6x330ml and 10x330ml multipack can formats, Brothers Raspberry Ripple launches this spring, with RRPs aligned to existing variants. The highly innovative flavour will appeal for a diverse range of occasions in the run up to summer and beyond.

Brothers is the only brand in growth in the fruit cider category, with value +3.3 per cent and volume +9.6 per cent. Over the last year, the brand’s volume per trip has increased by an impressive +12.5 per cent.

The launch of Brothers Raspberry Ripple will be supported with a disruptive marketing campaign comprising influencer partnerships, social media activations, and POS materials available to drive visibility in depots and in-store.

“Flavour innovation is what we do best at Brothers. We break the mould and bring all-new flavours to the cider category; we know our range of curious flavours has broad appeal across a wide range of consumers," said Nicola Randall, head of marketing. "We’re adding to our successful range of highly original variants with Raspberry Ripple, which draws its inspiration from the world of ice-cream. The new flavour will hold strong appeal for impulse shoppers and comes hot on the heels of our already-popular Cherry Bakewell variant launched in 2022.”
