Wholesaler Booker is investing in its retail customer proposition through a number of changes to its retail senior leadership team.

The UK’s largest wholesaler – who owns symbol groups Budgens, Premier, Londis and Family Shopper – will combine teams to have a single dedicated Retail Sales team, led by Martyn Parkinson. The change will strengthen the existing team’s ability to support independent retailers with the right symbol group offer.

Heading up Retail Proposition will be Stewart Fenn, who will be responsible for setting, shaping and evolving the end‑to‑end customer proposition across all Booker’s symbol groups, continuing to ensure great value for customers. Fenn will also have overall responsibility for the wholesaler’s forecourt offer – covering regional, independent and national accounts.

Colm Johnson, Managing Director for Booker Retail, said: “Both Martyn and Stewart have a wealth of experience across Booker and the convenience landscape.

"These changes will allow us to best support independent retailers across local communities, ensuring they are well set up for success now and in the future.”
