    Booker renews partnership with MFG

Wholesaler Booker has announced the renewal of its partnership with Motor Fuel Group (MFG) for a further five years.

The wholesaler, which won the account in November 2015, remains the exclusive supplier to the existing MFG estate that totals more than 870 forecourt convenience stores nationwide.

Booker said its account support team, working closely with the MFG, is dedicated to helping MFG operate profitable stores for their retailers, with a bespoke promotional programme, joint business plans and account management excellence.

Having first won this account in November 2015, this renewal will ensure 13 years of continued support.

“It is a privilege to serve MFG and we are delighted to continue our partnership with them,” said Colm Johnson, managing director, Booker Group – Retail.

“I am really proud of the team that work so closely with MFG and their retailers to optimise their range, offer them great value and also deliver outstanding service levels. We have a great relationship and I’m really looking forward to building on this success as we continue to unlock more growth opportunities.”

MFG also recently confirmed it’s in discussions with Morrisons to acquire 340 fuel retail forecourts together with 500 freehold plots of land at the supermarket locations where ultra-rapid EV and valeting hubs will be deployed.
