Ballymena store marks 15th anniversary by giving back to local school

McCosh’s SPAR Kells has announced further support for Kells and Connor Primary School in Kells, Ballymena with sponsorship of sports kits.

The family run store, which is owned and run by local husband and wife team, Michael and Elaine McCosh, celebrated the 15th anniversary of serving their community in October 2023. The family and their team of 12 staff decided to mark the occasion by giving back to the local community.

The store has supported Kells and Connor Primary School for a number of years and through various activities including sports days, Christmas events, world book days and P7 end of year parties, and now sponsoring kit for the school’s football and netball teams.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to provide further sponsorship for the local school and grow our partnership with them,” Michael commented.

“It has always been important to us to support our local community and we thought our 15th anniversary was the perfect time to give back to Kells and Connor Primary School and to recognise the key role the school plays within our community.”
