Building on the success of its pioneering foray into the jellies space last summer, £17.8m confectionery brand, Chupa Chups, is expanding its existing range of Sour Mixed Belts, Sour Apple Belts, Sour Strawberry Belts, Strawberry Laces, and Sour Bites and Tubes with a fruity new addition: Apple Laces.

Chupa Chups’ share of the jellies market has been growing every quarter since launch, and with appetite for apple-flavoured sweets on the rise, growing by +26.9 per cent since 2024, the time is ripe for further trend-led innovation from Perfetti Van Melle. Retailers can take the opportunity to stock-up this summer in anticipation of retail and consumer demand for this new fun flavour.
