Altos Tequila launches new ready-to-serve classic Lime Margarita

Altos Tequila is launching a brand new, ready-to-serve Margarita, delivering bar quality cocktails in seconds. Made with Altos Plata Tequila, triple sec, natural lime flavour and agave syrup, Altos Classic Lime Margarita Ready-To-Serve (RTS) delivers the unmistakeably smooth, clean and complex taste of Altos Plata with a subtle sweetness and perfectly balanced finish.

Altos Classic Lime Margarita RTS is available now in the UK in a 750ml glass bottle (RRP: £15, ABV: 14.9 per cent), rolling out this spring. Offering six servings per bottle,  once opened, it must be kept refrigerated and consumed within 15 days.

“The tequila category is booming and this new, accessible format, makes it so simple for people to create the perfect margarita at home,” said Josh McCarthy, Brand Director for Pernod Ricard UK. “Whether elevating an evening in or looking for the perfect dinner party serve, creating a top-quality cocktail is now as simple as pouring over ice, taking away concerns about balance, technique, and leftover ingredients.”

Altos Tequila is made from 100 per cent blue agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco in Mexico. The agave is slow-cooked in brick ovens, distilled in copper pot stills and aged in ex-bourbon barrels, following centennial traditions for the purest expression of tequila. This produces a superb quality classic tequila, built for the modern world. It has a sweet, balanced body with light citrus notes and aromas of bright fresh herbs, and an incredibly clean bright finish.
