Alternative milk brand Minor Figures secures new listings in independents

Minor Figures, a fast-growing alternative milk brand, has secured a host of new independent listings for its plant-based product portfolio via distributors including Bidfood and Stores Supply.

The three strong 1 Litre range – Barista (RRP £1.80), Barista Organic (RRP: £2.00) and the latest addition, Barista Light (RRP: £2.00) – will also be available at Tesco from 21 March.

The brand said the latest listings follow a period of sustained growth, with their RSV increasing by £9 million in the last year alone, and it predicts a 100 per cent YOY growth in revenue for the next three years ahead.

Now stocked in over 2,500 grocery stores and more than 5,000 coffee shops and independents across the UK, the Minor Figures range is also seeing success internationally, now available in over 40 countries worldwide.

Founded in 2015 by three friends in London, all Minor Figures products are not only proudly plant-based, UK-made and carbon neutral, but they never compromise on flavour or quality.

“We, as founders, share a love of coffee and a passion for a better planet, so when we started the brand back in 2015 we set out simply to make innovative plant-based products that allow the true flavour profile of the coffee to shine through while remaining focussed on sustainability,” Stu Forsyth, Minor Figures co-founder, commented.

“It’s been quite the journey from our origins in East London to the global business we are today and this new Tesco listing is a key new win for us here in the UK market as we continue to accelerate the business.”
