Win a Van – PepsiCo partners with Bestway to give back to retailers

Following last year’s success, PepsiCo is partnering with Bestway to relaunch its Win a Van competition for the second year in the run up to Christmas. The competition will offer convenience retailers the chance to win a Ford Transit Courier Leader, as a way to thank them for their continued hard work during a challenging year for the sector.

“We’re aware of the challenges that independent retailers within the convenience sector have faced in the last year,” said Mike Chapman, head of wholesale at PepsiCo. “Now more than ever, consumer demand is on products that are affordable and accessible. We have kept this front of mind for this campaign by focusing the competition on products which are the biggest drivers for savoury snacks category growth – RRP price marked packs. RRP PMPs now account for 49 per cent of crisps and snacks value sales, and contribute to value growth more than any other segment. This competition will give retailers the chance to win a prize that will not only help retailers with the running of their business but will also allow them to boost their sales.”

Retailers simply have to purchase any £1.25 RRP PMP case of Walkers crisps and snacks for their chance to be automatically entered into the prize draw. Running from now until 5 January 2023, the competition will be supported by in-depot displays, including front of depot and point of sale, alongside trade media advertising.

Full terms and conditions for the competition can be viewed here.
