    Crackd The No-Egg Egg launches new smaller bottle

    Crackd The No-Egg Egg, creators of the world’s most versatile plant-based liquid egg replacement product, have launched a smaller 346g pack size format to combat food waste and make the product more accessible, in terms of price, to the flexitarian community.

    “Through the support of our existing customers, the brand continues to grow from strength to strength,” said Rik Roberts, General Manager. “You can find us in the chilled meat substitute aisle alongside amazing brands such as Quorn, Richmond and This!”

    Developed over five years by the team at Bingham & Jones, Crackd The No-Egg Egg behaves in a similar way to whole liquid eggs when used in cooking and baking. Made from pea protein, Crackd The No-Egg Egg is rich in protein, vitamin D & B12 as well as being free from 14 food allergens, cholesterol & virtually fat-free. Unlike other egg replacement products, Crackd comes in the form of a liquid whole egg. You can make anything from egg-free scrambled eggs, delicious omelettes, golden Yorkshire puddings right through to your favourite cake.

    “Our consumer research highlighted the need for a smaller sized bottle as consumers become more focused on reducing their food waste, and it has allowed us to get down to a £3.00 (RRP) price point,” added Rik.

    Despite being in the market for only a short time, the brand has earned a number of awards including a gold and two silvers in the FreeFrom food awards, as well as being highly commended at the Grocers New Product Awards in 2021. Recently the brand has also been shortlisted for The Grocer New Product Awards 2022.
