‘Pawsome’ makeover for Tracker cereal bars

Mars Chocolate Drinks and Treats (MCD&T) has this week unveiled a new colourful look for its range of Tracker cereal bars.

The under-100 calories per bar message together with the oats and grains content have been given prominence on the front of pack and the base colour for all packs is an eye-catching yellow.

The healthier biscuit sub-category is worth £714.3 million and growing at a rate of +7.1 per cent vs YA (1.7 per cent vs 2YA) with the average shopper buying into the category 9.7x in a year.

“We believe that Tracker was the first UK cereal bar, launched in 1986,” said Michelle Frost, general manager at Mars Chocolate Drinks and Treats. “It’s tasty three layers of crunch, chew and goo, have certainly stood the test of time. We believe that a combination of the new packaging and price point will attract a new younger consumer to the brand.”

The new look Tracker cereal bars are available in multipacks of five, order now from Burton’s Biscuits on 0330 6600 196. RSP. £1.60.
