SPAR has launched a new consumer campaign in participating stores around England, Scotland and Wales.
Running throughout January, the ‘Win your Shop for Free’ campaign aims to get customers back into stores post-Christmas and New Year, with a total of 900 prizes available.
“We are looking to reward customers with an campaign that focuses on value at what can be a tricky financial time of year for many,” Alex Hall, SPAR UK digital marketing manager, said.
“We know consumers are more likely to spend more if they think they can win the value of their shop back and ‘Win your Shop for Free’ gives them a chance to do just that. Shoppers visiting our stores can win their essential shop and maybe something extra for a special occasion as well.”
Customers only need to upload their receipt to a bespoke website for the chance to win back their basket spend. There will be 30 prizes a day for 30 days up for grabs from 3 January to 1 February.
“It’s about bringing higher perceived value to SPAR stores which will incentivise basket spend and in turn encourage footfall,” Hall added.
The campaign will be supported on POS in-stores and paid media activity across social channels.
