Nisa launches new range of comfort food meals

A range of new convenient comfort food meals has launched into Nisa enabling independent retailers to cater for every customer need as the seasons change.

Alongside the new products there are also improved recipes on some firm favourites with soups, pizzas, ready meals and pies all in the offing, meaning there is something for everyone.

Jonny Lambert, Co-op Brand Planning and Communications Manager (Wholesale) said: “After a great British summer full of friends, family and food, it is finally beginning to feel like we are getting back to a bit of normality and the Co-op autumn range reflects that with the mix of family favourites alongside NPDs.

“As the colder weather sets in shoppers will start to look for more comfort food meals and the autumn range has this really well covered for Nisa partners and their shoppers.”

The entire Co-op standard chilled soup range has been overhauled to deliver great quality classics that have a broad appeal and with brand new flavours and textures added, they make the perfect warming autumn meal, and all are gluten free.

In ready meals, the Chinese collection has been re-launched to deliver a “wok fresh” rangereplicating classic Chinese takeaway lines including new products such as the Crispy Chilli Beef.

Meanwhile the Co-op Irresistible ready meals offer has had a refresh to offer customers restaurant inspired meals and the well-loved Co-op pizzas have also been given some attention with new exciting lines available for shoppers to try this autumn.

And finally, work has been done to strengthen and improve the Co-op pie range with key quality ingredients and new lines added to the collection.

“With the new autumn range, Nisa partners have never been in a better position to exceed expectations of their customers and give them a really good offer that is a great price, top quality and also achieves good margins,” said Jonny.
