BBQ Tricks and Tips from Chef

We all love to eat barbeque with our family and friends, and that’s why people always have a BBQ at home parties and functions. If you are beginners and don’t know much about BBQ, it is advised to read this article before you plan to make barbeque at your party. So, take your tongs and read further to hone your skills with these helpful BBQ tips and tricks from Chef.

    1. Don’t use a gas grill:

Various cooking barbeques include direct heat, indirect heat, charcoal, split logs, and woods. The most unrecommended the use of type is the gas grill. Many experts are not agreed on using the Gas Grill for BBQ.

You will get the heat from the gas grill, but you will not get the smoke’s texture. The smoke is the main ingredient in the BBQ. You will indeed feel the absence of taste in the BBQ prepared with a gas grill.

    1. Use wood from Fruit trees for great flavor:

If you want to take the BBQ to the next level, you should try using fruit trees for BBQ. You can add fruit tree wood chips to your charcoal. These fruit woods have a mild flavor and high sap to create a great taste in your BBQ. These wood chips have fewer impurities. You can try fruit trees like apple, cherry, grape, and my favorite peach.

    1. Soak wood chips in water before cooking:

It is another great tip from Chef. You should not directly apply wood chips to BBQ fire. Soak wood chips in water before cooking. You have to soak it for at least an hour, and for great results, overnight will be the best. Then you have to wrap them in aluminum foil and then put them in a grill. It will create more smoke and increase the flavor of your BBQ.

    1. Don’t check the temperature again and again:

To make a perfect and tasty BBQ, you should learn to low and slow cooking. You have to be patient while cooking and never check the temperature repeatedly. You may check the temperature are every hour or half-hour but not more or less than this. If you are doing this frequently, it will cool off the BBQ and destroy the taste.

There is no reason to check the cooker frequently. BBQ requires time; it is not the same as regular cooking. You should review the temperature every hour to see the meat.

    1. Let the meat sit before eating:

When you remove the meal from the grills, you should wait for some minutes. Wait until the meal sits down. It helps to maintain the taste and keeps your meat from drying out. It is not advised to serve and eat meat directly from grills. Make sure you wait until your meat sits down and enhance the taste of the serving.

    Conclusion:

If you want to make your house party great, including BBQ in the serving is the best thing you can do. We all know that the cleaning after-party is exhausting, so buy products from smokingthings and enjoy your BBQ.
