Urban Eat Launches Festive Sandwiches for Teenage Cancer Trust

Food-to-go brand, Urban Eat, is adding extra heart to the season with the launch of its limited-edition Festive range in partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust. Landing in-stores from 11 November, for every festive pack sold 10p* will be donated to help fund the charity’s specialist nurses, youth workers and hospital units supporting young people aged 13–24 diagnosed with cancer.

Alongside the charitable initiative, the festive line-up brings two Christmas classics that tap into the nation’s love of comfort, nostalgia and seasonal lunchtime treats. Designed to stand out in the chiller across retail, travel and foodservice, the limited-edition packs feature bold festive artwork and playful Christmas cues that capture attention and drive impulse purchase during the peak trading period.

The Festive Feast sandwich brings together succulent chicken, sweet-cure bacon, sage and onion stuffing, and tangy cranberry sauce for a perfectly executed, totally delicious classic. With shoppers seeking familiar favourites, it delivers a comforting taste of Christmas that’s hard to resist.

A smash hit vegetarian alternative, the Brie & Cranberry sandwich offers rich, creamy indulgence that perfectly balances sweetness and savoury and taps into the ongoing demand for elevated vegetarian options and flavour-forward options.

To help retailers make the most of the festive sales opportunity, a suite of POS and digital assets will be available. This includes shelf barkers, digital screen visuals and social content that help drive awareness of the partnership.

“This Christmas, we wanted our festive range to do more than just taste great,” said Wayne Greensmith, Head of Customer Marketing at Samworth Brothers Food For Now. “Consumers are looking for those little moments of joy that bring warmth, comfort and connection, and this year we’re proud to deliver a range that aims to do just that. The return of our much-loved festive favourites will not only delight sandwich fans nationwide but also fund the vital work of Teenage Cancer Trust.”

In addition to Urban Eat the company also have a range of other festive Limited editions available across their Leaf & Loaf, Real Wrap, Coffee Shop & West Cornwall Pasty brands.
