UK retailers entitled to £500 free stock vouchers

These vouchers by NFRN and Booker can be redeemed by retailers until Tuesday, 3rd November

Retailers across the UK are being urged to cash in on millions of pounds worth of free stock, provided by the Federation of Independent Retailers (NFRN) in partnership with a national wholesaler.

The NFRN and Booker teamed up to launch the scheme in early September, with all Federation members receiving free vouchers with a retail sales value of £500.

Featuring a wide range of top selling products, the promotion comprises a mix of buy one get one free offers, free cases and money off deals.

Vouchers can be redeemed at Booker and Makro branches nationwide on a range of top selling soft drinks, confectionery, alcohol and snack products.

Participating brands include Diet Coke, Oasis, Sprite, McCoy’s, Love Hearts, Nescafe Azera, Logic, Carlsberg and Hardy’s wines, with almost 2,000 members have taken advantage of the offer.

But with Tuesday, 3rd November being the deadline to redeem the vouchers fast approaching, a further £4 million worth of free products is still up for grabs.

NFRN National President Stuart Reddish said: “During these hard times, independent retailers need all the help they can get, and this offer really should be a no-brainer for all our active members.

“The scheme gives business owners the chance to put £500 in their tills without anything coming out of their pockets. It also offers them a great opportunity to try different big name brands that they may not currently stock and to take advantage of some exclusive promotions.

“I urge any members who have not yet cashed in their vouchers to do so as soon as possible before the offer ends on November 3.
