Tyrrells launches ‘Tyrrellbly Tasty’ British Beef & Ale flavour

KP Snacks has today announced that its premium hand-cooked crisps brand Tyrrells is further expanding its portfolio with the launch of a new flavour, Tyrrells British Beef & Ale.

Available from 30th August, the new product will be available in stores nationwide in 40g single packs (RRP £0.85). Designed to be the perfect accompaniment to your chosen drink, Tyrrells British Beef & Ale crisps provide consumers with a favourite pub classic in a delicious snack form.

Consumer preference for meaty flavours in crisps and snacks is growing, and the new product looks to tap into this trend and fill the current flavour gap in the Tyrrells core range. Packed with strong flavours and made with the finest Hereford potatoes, the launch is set to catch attention and attract new shoppers to the premium hand-cooked crisps segment.

“We are really excited about introducing Tyrrells British Beef and Ale to our core range as we know it’s those bold meaty flavours that consumers are looking for right now,” said Beth Minch, Marketing Manager at Tyrrells. “By combining the popular flavour with our well-loved brand, consumers can feel like they are in the pub anytime and anywhere!”

With a £55.4m RSV and growing at +10.2 per cent, Tyrrells products are currently purchased by over 5.5m households, with its main shoppers falling within the 45yr+ ABC1 category. It is the UK’s No.1 vegetable crisp brand and the No.2 hand-cooked crisp, and has 86 Great Taste Awards across its portfolio.
