Tilda launches new sales app with tech firm Adventoris

Tilda Rice B2B ordering app powered by SwiftCloud, streamlining wholesale orders for UK trade partners

Gregg Finlay-Martin, head of customer success at Adventoris

Huddersfield-based Software as a Service (SaaS) business, Adventoris, has successfully launched a B2B sales app for household food brand, Tilda Rice, which one of its trade partners called "revolutionary".

Tilda Rice Digitises Trade Orders with SwiftCloud

The app, created on Adventoris’ flagship SwiftCloud platform, allows Tilda’s wholesale and independent trade partners to place orders 24/7, browse products, contact the company and access technical information whenever it is convenient for them on a fully branded and customised platform. This system replaces Tilda’s previous manual order capturing process with the aim to drive efficiencies.

Tilda Rice was the first rice company in the UK to be B Corp certified last year, and is known for offering premium, high-quality rice products. The company focuses on sustainability, ethical sourcing, and innovation to deliver versatile and convenient rice solutions.

“As our wholesale and independent trade partner base continues to grow, we had to find alternative ways to make the brand and order processing more accessible for customers," said Henda van der Walt, e-commerce controller at Tilda Rice.

“Due to the nature of some of our independent retailers, orders would be received in different formats (email, phone, written piece of paper, WhatsApp) which meant that order entry mistakes were common and there was no clear trail or process which made it difficult for our audit processes.

“One of the objectives in moving from manual order processing to the SwiftCloud platform is to futureproof the business by introducing a digital solution to ensure 24/7 access. Our customers are also reaping the rewards, as they can now order from us with ease, anytime, anywhere. One customer has said 'this is revolutionary'.”

With the app now live via SwiftCloud, Tilda Rice is onboarding its clients to the platform, which has around 200 products available on it, with the full support of the Adventoris customer success team.

Tilda has also made use of SwiftCloud’s Sales Manager module, to support its customers with the transition. The Sales Manager module allows Tilda’s sales team to take orders directly that will flow seamlessly into the new system, field access, note taking, reports and order history information.

Gregg Finlay-Martin, head of customer success at Adventoris, said: “We are proud to have been able to support Tilda Rice on their digitisation journey, so it is incredibly rewarding to be getting such positive feedback from their customers as they make this transition.

“Through SwiftCloud we are always striving to improve efficiency, consistency and accuracy for our customers, meaning that they can be more productive in their roles and form stronger relationships with their customers.”
