TikTok Shop launches '£1 Million Club' to support small businesses

TikTok Shop has announced the launch of the "£1Million Club" a scheme to help small and medium-sized businesses hit £1 million in revenue on the social media platform through a series of incentives and support at no extra cost.

According to Tik Tok, the "£1Million Club" will bring five core benefits to new merchants- up to 90 days 0 per cent commission-free sales, free storage and fulfillment through Fufilled by TikTok, and a seller support priority service. The platform will also provide dedicated promotion support for merchants, ensuring that brands can get more exposure through campaigns, creator, content and traffic support.


Jan Wilk, Head of Operations, TikTok Shop UK, said, “We are committed to helping both big brands and small businesses supercharge sales outside of traditional channels. Through launching our new ‘£1Million Club’ plan, we hope this package of e-commerce solutions and resource support will help UK businesses to grow rapidly by putting their products in front of new audiences.

This comes as last month, make-up artist Mitchell Halliday, the founder and CEO of British beauty brand Made By Mitchell, became the first ever brand in the UK to hit $1 million in sales in one day on TikTok Shop. The beauty brand's success was down to a 12-hour LIVE marathon which saw one product sell every single second. TikTok Shop is not just a home to small businesses, but big brands too.

Puma recently reported a 737 per cent increase in weekly revenue via an affiliate programme on TikTok Shop, and 57 per cent of ASOS' transactions after launching on TikTok Shop were from new customers - demonstrating the power the platform holds to reach audiences.
