    Swizzels launches retailer competition

Sweet manufacturer Swizzels has launched a new Big Night In campaign, giving convenience retailers the chance to win 55” TV’s and movie streaming vouchers.

Retailers who purchase three cases of Choos or Loadsa hanging bags can be in contention for the pizes by uploading a photo of their invoice to the Swizzels website.

“Hanging bags are performing extremely well in the sugar confectionery category, having grown by nearly £100 million in the past two years and now accounting for 50% of total sugar confectionery sales. Swizzels has a range of best-selling hanging bags which are recognisable to consumers so we are perfectly positioned to drive growth in the category and provide further support to convenience retailers,” said Mark Walker, sales director at Swizzels.

The competition will be activated by wholesalers and promoted through point of sale materials.

The firm will also be running a consumer campaign using PR and social media to drive in store purchase. Shoppers will be encouraged to purchase Swizzels products and upload a photo of their Big Night In for the chance to win prizes.
