Soreen launches new Fruit & Veg-Mmms range for kids

Malt Loaf brand Soreen today announced the launch of their new Fruit & Veg-Mmms bakes, which are high in fruit and veg while maintaining Soreen’s distinctive squidgy texture.

The individually-wrapped bakes, a source of fibre, come in two flavours: Blackberry & Beetroot and Orange & Rainbow Carrot, both of which are plant-based and vegan-friendly.

Both variants contain 40 per cent fruit and veg, coming in at under 100 calories per bar, and are low in saturated fat and contain 50 per cent less sugar than the average cake bar.

“We know how hard it can be for parents to find quick and healthy snacks for their kids, especially ones that can include fruit and veg, as well as deliver on that essential taste test,” said Mark Simester, Managing Director at Soreen.

He said the new range will allowparents to easily provide their children with a tasty on-the-go snack option packed full of fruit and veg.

The individually-wrapped bakes come in multipacks of five and are portion-controlled, enabling parents to easily plan and purchase their children’s healthy Soreen snacks for the week.

“We really wanted to help equip parents of toddlers and pre-school aged children with a snack that fulfills all their required criteria,” said Liz Jacobs, Head of Marketing. “This includes health, nutrition, convenience and taste, so we’re delighted to now go to market with these bakes fulfilling all that and more.”

Soreen’s Fruit & Veg-Mmms are currently available to buy from the Co-op.
