  • Snappy Shopper, the UK’s leading q-commerce technology platform for independent retailers, has announced the successful launch of home delivery services across three West Yorkshire stores, generating more than 4,000 orders and more than £100,000 in sales in under two months.

By leveraging Snappy Shopper’s advanced technology, Barry’s Premier Halton Moor, Taylor’s Foodstore and Premier Drighlington have enhanced their delivery services, now offering fast and reliable delivery to customers in as little as 30 minutes.

This expansion highlights the growing demand for local, efficient home delivery in the convenience retail sector and underscores Snappy Shopper’s role in helping independent retailers thrive in the digital age.

"Snappy Shopper has been a game changer for us," said Kevin Wilson, owner of the three stores. “The EPOS integration has made a big difference, we can now offer real-time stock updates which wasn’t possible with our previous delivery provider.

"The technology is a real step up and the marketing support has been invaluable in driving both awareness and sales. We’ve seen significant growth in a short period of time."

Barry’s Premier Halton Moor (Leeds) and Taylor’s Foodstore (Holmfirth), both of which previously offered home delivery with Flash Delivery, made the seamless transition to Snappy Shopper in April.

Meanwhile, Premier Drighlington (Bradford), which had never offered delivery services before, has already secured orders within its first week of operation on June 9, showcasing immediate customer demand.

To kickstart their home delivery services, each store launched with enticing customer offers funded by Snappy Shopper, including £10 off the first order for new customers at Barry’s Premier Halton Moor and Taylor’s Foodstore and £10 off the first three orders for Premier Drighlington.

These offers have been supported by online promotions, such as 50 per cent off big brands, to drive customer engagement and loyalty.

Since joining Snappy Shopper, the three stores have collectively generated more than 4,000 orders, equating to more than £100,000 in sales in just under two months.

Barry’s Premier Halton Moor has also taken advantage of Snappy Shopper’s vehicle marketing strategy, with a branded car wrap showcasing Kevin’s face, which has become a community talking point.

The eye-catching wrap has turned the vehicle into a moving billboard, driving high visibility across the community and increasing local brand recognition. Locals have described it as “great advertising” and “good fun.”

“We’re thrilled to welcome Kevin and his stores to the platform,” said Mike Callachan, CEO of Snappy Shopper. “These are exactly the kind of community-first stores we love to support and the early results are a perfect example of how independent retailers can accelerate growth, expand their reach and maintain a strong local presence with the right technology and marketing tools, all of which Snappy Shopper helps to fuel.”

Kevin, alongside his son Sam, has owned and operated Barry’s Premier Halton Moor since 2018.

The father and son are deeply committed to their local community and actively support charitable causes, including funding school trips and providing for local initiatives.

Snappy Shopper has joined in these efforts, donating water bottles to the local school and contributing to charity store dashes in the area.

Similarly, Taylor’s Foodstore, with 1,300 Facebook followers, has embraced local community engagement, leveraging social media to interact with customers and boost online orders, generating 800 orders since launch.

Premier Drighlington, which opened its doors in 2008, has quickly engaged its local customer base, capitalising on Snappy Shopper’s tools to drive early success.
