Shopping app Jisp strengthens support to local retailers

Shopping and payment app said it will be strengthening their local business support to increase sales and customers for partners.

The Alton-based company is looking to hire Local Stores Marketing Managers who would provide support for retailers on a local level, increasing Jisp awareness and maximising engagement between store owners and their customers through the app, in-store marketing and social media.

“It’s an exciting role that is very important not just for us a growing brand but for our clients too,” Greg Deacon, chief customer officer at Jisp.

“With home delivery and click and collect being more relevant than ever, it is our mission to help independent businesses to really engage with their customers, which is simply not possible with a blanket marketing strategy.”

Deacon said the company has been rapidly building strong partnerships and signing up new retailers across the UK and Scandinavia since launching their solutions during the first lockdown.

Jisp has partnerships with the Federation of Independent Retailers (NFRN) and Bestway Wholesale to provide home delivery, click and collect and scan and go services through the mobile app.

“Every day we are onboarding up to four stores across our partner groups, and we need passionate experts to join our team and truly join the dots between Jisp, store owners and shoppers. This will give us an opportunity to work with each retailer individually and provide marketing and social support they need on a local level,” Deacon said.
