Rich’s launches Baked range into One Stop

Rich Products (Rich’s) has launched its thaw-and-serve bakery range Baked into One Stop stores in an effort to increase the distribution within the convenience channel.

The range will be available in 875 One Stop stores across the UK, launching initially with two cookie products, White Chocolate cookies and the top-selling Triple Chocolate cookies.

“Shoppers are looking to their local convenience stores to not only provide the basic everyday items, but also to offer products that they can treat themselves with,” commented John Want, sales, marketing and R&D director at Rich’s.

“Baked can transform retailers’ bakery range, providing a real point of difference with exceptional value for money and a delicious eating experience. We’ve also ensured we are delivering these products in eye-catching, shelf-ready packaging, which makes things so easy for the retailer.”

With food to go convenience missions increasing in recent months following the boom in shopping local, Rich’s said the Baked range is set to indulge customers’ ever-growing appetites for sugary rewards.

“Sweet bakery has performed well this year and as we expect sales to be strong in the months ahead, especially in the local convenience channel, with consumers willing to spend more on visually-enticing cookies that offer an enjoyable and luxurious eating experience,” Want added.

“Generally, we are all also increasingly conscious of what we’re eating, so when indulging it must be ‘worth the calories’ – our cookies are certainly that!”

Developed at Rich’s state-of-the-art facility in Andover, Baked range includes cookies, muffins, buns and shortbreads. For more information on how to stock, contact [email protected].
