Camelot’s latest Retailer Hub rewards programmes for both its ‘Site, Stock, Sell Online’ and a special winter rewards initiative have seen over 700 National Lottery retailers winning a total of £30,000 in cash prizes.

Ten retailers have picked up £1,000 each in the second quarterly prize draw of the new-look ‘Site, Stock, Sell Online’ programme, and one extra-lucky retailer scooped the huge £10,000 top prize.

The special winter rewards initiative saw £10,000 in cash prizes go to 700 independent retailers – with prizes ranging from £5 to £500 and one top prize of £1,000, which was taken home by Richard Sage of Craven Street Stores in Melton Mowbray.

Shanti Visana of Great Berry Off Licence in Basildon, who won the £1,000 prize in the quarterly draw, said: “This is such welcome news, we’ve not had a good week business-wise and this win really made my day. I’m going to save the money and put it towards a family visit to India to see my parents, whom I haven’t seen since February 2019. I’ve been trying to save and this will really help us.”

Camelot’ Retail Director, Jenny Blogg, said: “These wins are thoroughly deserved by our independent retailers for the excellent work they’ve been doing over the last few months – they’ve continued to serve their communities through thick and thin, while helping to raise vital money for Good Causes by selling The National Lottery. I’d like to congratulate each and every one of them.

“We’re delighted that this quarter we were able to once again boost our ‘Site, Stock, Sell Online’ quarterly prize pool from £10,000 to £20,000. Not only that, but we also added a further £10,000 in cash rewards for National Lottery retailers as part of our special winter rewards initiative. We hope that these prizes make a real difference for the winners, especially as things have been a lot tougher over the last year.”
