Pepsi MAX unveils on-pack promotion with EA SPORTS FCTM 24

Pepsi MAX is kicking off its partnership with EA SPORTS FCTM in 2024 with an on-pack promotion, which gives shoppers the chance to win in-game rewards with every participating Pepsi MAX product. The campaign is set to drive excitement for shoppers in-store, encourage impulse sales and increase basket spend among football fans and gamers on-the-go.

With Pepsi MAX flavours growing ahead of the market at 17.1 per cent YOY MAT, the promotion is available across all Pepsi MAX core, Pepsi MAX Cherry and Pepsi MAX Lime 500ml bottles*. Running from 1st October until the 31st December 2023, the promotion provides another reason for shoppers to pick up on-the-go formats and will help retailers capitalise on the category’s success and drive even more purchase.

Alongside in-store point of sale (POS) and digital activity, the promotion will ensure brand visibility will be at an all-time high. Repeat purchases will be encouraged, with shoppers able to receive up to ten unique and in-game rewards during the promotional period.

EA SPORTS FCTM, previously branded as the FIFA videogame series, was the most popular game franchise in the UK in 2022, with over 5 million FIFA players in the UK. The partnership allows Pepsi MAX to continue its rich heritage within football entertainment, following the already successful partnership with the eChampions league which has reached millions of football fans since its launch.

Consumers simply need to enter their bottle’s unique promo code on the Pepsi MAX microsite to unlock EA sports FCTM 24 in game rewards. Each claimant receives a Pepsi Ultimate Team in-game pack for EA SPORTS FCTM, including a 75+ rated untradable gold item and an additional prize, such as unique kits or backgrounds from football talents.
