Nisa preps-up retailers for May bank holiday

As the early May bank holiday approaches, and shoppers are getting prepared for spontaneous get-togethers, Nisa is providing partners with great deals across a range of
    perfect party picks.

“The week leading up to a Bank Holiday provides a great sales opportunity for retailers to
really boost basket spend as many shoppers will be looking to stock up for a long weekend filled with fun, friends and family, regardless of the weather forecast,” said Chris Walker, Nisa’s Offline Marketing Lead.

Several Co-op multibuy promotions were made available to Nisa partners last week, such as Coleslaw and Potato Salad on 2 for £1.50 and Sausage Rolls and Pork Pies on 2 for £3.50, to help cater to the ‘picnic in the park’ shopper as well as those celebrating at home.

Shoppers can add to their snack spread with Florette Lamb’s Lettuce and Ruby Chard 70g
at just £1 and Doritos 150g bags for £1.25.

Danielle Sylvester, Nisa’s Wholesale Category Controlled for beers, wines and spirits added,
“As well as offering customers a wide array of food deals ahead of this weekend, it is equally important that their licensed gondola end is merchandised with varying pack sizes of lager, ale and cider to cater for get-togethers of all sizes and really drive basket-spend.”

Nisa shoppers can spot a mixture of big brand and own brand gins on the shelves this week
such as Beefeater Pink Strawberry 70cl for £15, Bombay Sapphire London Dry Gin 70cl for
£19, and Co-op Irresistible Passion Fruit, Mango, and Lime Flavoured Gin 50cl for £14. And
to mix, Co-op 1 litre Indian Tonic Water is just 75p a bottle.

And a selection of beers, ciders, wines, and spirits, including Kopparberg Cherry 10x330ml
for £10.50, Corte Molino Prosecco 75cl for £7.50, and Casillero del Diablo Sauvignon Blanc
75cl for £6.75 round off the promotion perfectly.

“A range of price and products posts will feature across Nisa’s consumer facing social media
to drum up excitement over the next week, and engaging recipes on the Nisa Locally
website are encouraging shoppers to cook up something delicious over the long weekend
with ingredients that can be picked up from their local Nisa,” said Walker.

Deals are available in participating stores until May 10.
