Nisa said it has decided to postpone its annual retail exhibition at Stoneleigh on account of the ongoing coronavirus situation.
“This decision has not been taken lightly but given the rapidly changing nature of the situation we believe that moving the event to later in the year is the right and responsible course of action to take for our colleagues, partners and suppliers,” the symbol group said in a statement.
The exhibition is now scheduled to take place on 20-21 October at the NAEC Stoneleigh.
As of 9am today (13 March), 32,771 people have been tested in the UK for the virus, of which 798 were confirmed as positive. The death toll stands at 10.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson yesterday moved Britain‘s response to the outbreak to the so-called “delay phase”, aimed at putting off the peak until the summer months, ending a phase of outright containment.
