    Nisa focuses on self-eat lines for Easter head start

    Nisa said it has made key confectionery lines available to its retailers from January, giving them a head start to the Easter season.

    The group added that it is focusing on self-eat lines to maximise sales this year, as they are hugely important for announcing that the arrival of the Season.

    Nisa is supplying a variety of Easter-themed self-eat confectionary to their retailers at competitive pricing from now through to April.

    Impulse items such as Cadbury’s Creme, Caramel and Oreo flavoured eggs are now available alongside Cadbury’s chocolate orange bunnies and Mini Egg cartons (38g), all at 60p each.

    Other indulgent treats include a range of Cadbury chocolate pouches including Mini Eggs 80g, Mini Dairy Milk eggs 86g, Mini Oreo eggs 82g and Creme Egg Twisted 94g at £1 each.

    Philippe Rondepierre, head of marketing at Nisa, said: “Research shows that 83 percent of shoppers who buy early in the season buy again. The average spend of an early season shopper is £13.86 versus the late season shopper at £9.422, so it’s crucial that we equip our retailers for those customers looking to start Easter shopping early.

    He added that additional Easter lines will be made available as Easter approaches.
