Nisa brings back £5 frozen deal

Nisa’s £5 frozen deal has returned and is helping shoppers fill the freezer for less this spring.

As the nation adapts to rising household bills, many will be paying close attention to
shopping budgets and sticking to quick and simple-to-prepare meals that keep cooking time to a minimum.

“A growing number of shoppers are looking to save money and reduce food waste, and the
frozen category has a huge role to play in that,” said Nisa’s wholesale category controller for frozen, Ian Redhead.

The group’s £5 meal solution is an established repeat promotion in Nisa partner stores, and
this period’s deal is expected to be even more popular with shoppers actively looking for
inexpensive ways to feed the family without sacrificing taste.

For a fiver, Nisa shoppers can pick up a Goodfellas Thincrust Margherita Pizza, Birds Eye
Wholegrain Chicken Nuggets 190g, McCain Lightly Spiced Potato Wedges 650g, Co-op
Battered Onion Rings 454g, and a tub of Cadbury Creme Egg Ice Cream 480ml, saving
    £8.44 off the RRP.

“The long shelf life and simplicity of the products will be attractive to busy parents who don’t have the time during the week to cook from scratch and stand over a stove for hours; amid the energy crisis many simply won’t have the budget to do so,” Redhead added.

Eye-catching animations featuring the deal are being shared on Nisa’s consumer-facing
social media channels to help draw additional attention to the promotion, which is available
    in stores until April 19.
