National Doughnut Week 2022 – registration now open

Registration for the official National Doughnut Week, 7-15 May 2022, is now open. Sign-up is easy, simply visit https://nationaldoughnutweek.org/ to complete the form.

The charity week, sponsored by CSM Ingredients, was launched by Christopher Freeman, co-owner of Dunns Bakery, after watching the harrowing report on the Ethiopian famine by Michael Buerk in 1992, and it had a record-breaking year in 2021 with a whopping £35,333.32 raised. Christopher has raised vital funds for two charities, the most recent being The Children’s Trust, donating £504,381 in total.

All the funds raised through the week go directly to the charity and this year bakers, cafés, bistros, delis and lots of other small businesses from around the country are encouraged to take part and support the week.

National Doughnut Week 2022 - registration now open“We hope that bakers from around the country sign up and help us raise much needed funds for The Children’s Trust,” said Cristiana Ballarini, CSM Ingredients Marketing Director, Pastry Mixes. “It’s been a tough couple of years for everyone and charities are still experiencing a hard time when it comes to fundraising so every penny raised is much appreciated and goes towards supporting children and their families that benefit from The Children’s Trust.”

Registration is now available at http://www.nationaldoughnutweek.org/.
