Monster adds Strawberry Dreams flavour to Zero Sugar Ultra range

Monster adds Strawberry Dreams flavour to Zero Sugar Ultra range

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has announced the latest addition to its popular zero sugar Monster Ultra range with a new strawberry flavoured variant, Monster Ultra Strawberry Dreams.

Rolling out nationwide from September, Monster Ultra Strawberry Dreams boasts a strawberry flavour that perfectly balances sweetness and tartness, giving consumers a delicious, refreshing energy boost with no calories and no sugar.

Monster Ultra Strawberry Dreams will be available in 500ml plain or price-marked single cans [and four can multipacks which are non-price-marked]. The strawberry-inspired creamy pink can design will help to deliver maximum impact on shelf to help drive sales.

In a recent Monster customer survey, 55 per cent of respondents said strawberry is the no.1 flavour innovation they’d like to see. Monster Ultra Strawberry Dreams is perfectly placed to tap into this, having become Monster’s number one selling Ultra flavour in the US.

Convenience retailers can request Monster Ultra Strawberry Dreams POS materials and download digital assets via My.CCEP.com to help bring the launch to life in-store and online.

Monster innovation driving growth

Monster Ultra Strawberry Dreams is the latest addition to Monster’s line-up and follows the arrival of Monster Juiced Bad Apple and Monster Reserve Orange Dreamsicle, which have launched already in 2024.

Innovation is key to Monster’s growth strategy and has helped the brand become the fastest growing major energy brand in GB, worth over £653.9m and adding £108.5m of sales in the last year alone while maintaining 9.6% volume growth. The Monster Ultra range is the no.1 zero sugar energy brand in GB.

“Energy drinks are adding more value to the soft drinks category than any other segment," said Helen Kerr, Associate Director of Portfolio Development at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners GB. "And much of this is down to diversification and innovation, led by Monster, which contributed more than half of NPD value sales over the last year. It’s a massive opportunity for retailers and there’s still room for significant growth.

“We’re confident that Monster Ultra Strawberry Dreams will build on this success. This new launch will tap into demand for the strawberry flavour and zero sugar energy drinks with the renowned Monster energy kick, so we’d recommend that retailers get stocked up.”
