Marmite launches ‘poshest’ product – Marmite Truffle flavour

Marmite is launching its most decadent and deluxe spread yet – Marmite Truffle Flavour. Set to divide the nation once again, the posh flavour is packed with a luxurious umami flavour and decadent aroma, along with the iconic Marmite taste.

“The red-carpet launch comes as the brand seeks to reach more households than ever before and unlock new occasions by offering Marmite fans a fancy-pants spread that goes beyond being a traditional toast-topper, but also helps to create a spiffing lunch or dinner,” said  spokesperson. “From Insta-worthy sourdough truffle toast to creamy Marmite Truffle Flavour fettucine, or a rich fillet steak served with Marmite Truffle-infused gravy and pomme purée – Marmite’s new and magnificent spread has been carefully curated to give everyday meals a swanky spin.”

The launch follows the Marmite Dynamite NPD last year where the brand proved that adding flavour to the yeast spread doesn’t go unmissed, as it added spice to tables up and down the country.

“Our love it or hate it flavours from Marmite always get tongues wagging and we expect no less with our poshest ever launch,” said Sophie Allan, Senior Brand Manager. “One doesn’t need a butler for this Truffle flavour toast topper, as we’re sure it’ll appeal to even the most discerning Marmite connoisseurs. Providing retailers with a top-notch trade up opportunity from our Original as shoppers look to get their hands on the most luxurious Marmite to date. No matter if you love it or hate it, we’re sure this spread is set to be a jolly good talking point around the table!”

The brand is set to spread across the “poshest” streets of London with Marmite Truffle billboard activations outside Harrods, including a horse drawn carriage touring London’s finest spots.

Marmite Truffle (RRP £4.50 per jar) will roll out nationwide in June
