Lyme Bay Winery introduces half-sized rum bottles

Lyme Bay Winery is excited to announce the launch of its highly acclaimed Jack Ratt Lugger Rum portfolio in a new half-sized (35cl) long island shaped bottle. The decision to introduce this new format was driven by valuable customer feedback and the growing trend towards smaller spirits formats in the market.

The move to offer Jack Ratt Lugger Rum in a smaller, more accessible size reflects the changing purchasing habits of consumers who are seeking lower price points and greater variety in their spirit choices. Recognising that many customers prefer the flexibility of smaller bottle sizes and are hesitant to commit to full 70cl bottles due to the abundance of competing brands and spirits in both on and off-trade channels, Lyme Bay Winery aims to better align with their preferences.

“We are thrilled to meet the demands of our discerning customers by introducing the half-sized Jack Ratt Lugger Rum bottles,” said Adam Drake, Head of Field Sales. “We understand that today’s consumers value choice, affordability but want quality, and convenience and we are committed to providing them with innovative options that cater to their evolving needs. This smaller sized bottle also give us more scope to tap into the gifting market.”

Both the award-winning Jack Ratt Lugger Golden Rum and the Jack Ratt Lugger Spiced Rum will be available in the 35cl format inviting partners and retailers to capitalise on the growing consumer trend towards smaller spirits formats throughout 2024.

Lyme Bay Winery believes that the introduction of the smaller format Lugger Rum bottles will not only enhance the brand’s appeal to existing customers but also attract new consumers looking for quality, choice, and value in their spirits purchases.

The Jack Ratt Lugger Rum will retail at £19.99
