    Hunter & Gather launches squeezy bottles and adds new Hot Sauce

    Hunter & Gather, the brand behind the UK’s first range of Unsweetened Sauces, is launching its award-winning sauces in a 100 per cent recyclable, squeezy bottle, whilst adding a new Unsweetened Hot Sauce to the line-up.

    The launch is a strategic business move to grow presence in retail following a year of transformative online growth, which culminated in triple digit D2C website sales growth in January 2023 and the brand’s first ever +£500k month.

    This follows a £1.45 million raise in October 2022, which included a £730k Seedrs crowd raise, valuing the business at £8.1m.

    Hunter & Gather launches squeezy bottles and adds new Hot SauceMaking healthy swaps simple, the new 350g squeezy format offers consumers the same great tasting Unsweetened Sauces – made in the UK from 100 per cent Natural ingredients – but more value, less waste, and not a nasty ingredient in sight.

    Headlining the new squeezy line-up is Unsweetened Sriracha Hot Sauce made from only natural ingredients – Red Pepper, Apple Cider Vinegar, Garlic, Cayenne Pepper, Pink Himalayan Salt, and Konjac Root – with no added sweeteners or sugar and zero compromise on taste.

    “With increased consumer drive for health and value, we’ve worked hard to create a flavour packed, great tasting range of sauces with exemplary health credentials but in a 100 per cent recyclable squeezy bottle that means less waste and more value for shoppers,” said Amy Moring, Co-founder of Hunter & Gather.

    “This is an exciting move, as with 97 per cent of the ketchup market in a squeezy format, we are now perfectly placed to challenge the household sauce brands that have monopolised in retail for too long.

    “As the first and only Unsweetened Sauce brand in the UK, our mission is to raise the bar for health across the category, as we move from challenger to mainstream.

    “Whilst other brands might claim ‘no added sugar’, the reality is that most contain added natural sugar in the form of fruit syrups or dates that coat the palate.

    “Our squeezy sauces really do stand up to scrutiny as they are handmade in the UK in small batches, using quality ingredients, absolutely no added sugar or sweeteners, and with zero compromise on taste.”
