Honey Thief, billed as the UK’s first hard honey liqueur, is now officially available to the UK off-trade, just in time for the summer sales period.

Crafted in Yorkshire by drinks firm Nidhoggr and fermented from 100% sustainable, ethically sourced European honey, Honey Thief offers a completely new category for the UK market - delivering a modern, naturally sweet twist on liqueurs and RTDs that plays straight into current consumer demand for flavour-led, craft alcohol and creative cocktail making.

The range includes Honey Thief Original Nectar 70cl (15% ABV) liqueurs in four premium flavours: Pure Honey, Elderflower Nectar, Sour Cherry and Blueberry & Blackcurrant and Honey Thief Sparkling 330ml (5% ABV) ready-to-drink cans in the same four variants, providing an accessible, sessionable option perfect for impulse sales, outdoor venues and summer festivals.

The brand is already gaining attention thanks to its striking design, unique positioning and expert drinks development from five-time world bartending champion and authority on cocktails, Jamie Stephenson, who said: “Hard honey is a brilliant base for so many serves - naturally sweet and incredibly versatile. Whether you’re creating bold, citrusy and spiced drinks or indulgent dessert-style cocktails, the depth of flavour and silky smoothness of the honey offers huge creative potential for both bartenders creating summer drinks menus, and consumers who love to experiment at home.”

Robert Taylor, sales director at Honey Thief, said: “Honey Thief is all about breaking the rules of traditional liqueurs. We wanted to create something playful, premium, and completely new - and early feedback from drinks experts and grocery drinks buyers has been phenomenal. With sweet serves trending and sessionable, lower ABVs in demand, especially with younger drinkers, Honey Thief hits the sweet spot for a wide range of formats and occasions.”

Available now to UK retailers, Honey Thief is ready to support listings across independent retailers, grocery multiples, cocktail bars, pub groups and out-of-home drinking.
