Hancocks to host second Sweetest Day event in depots across the country

Leading confectionery wholesaler Hancocks has urged retailers to attend its second Sweetest Day event in depots to take advantage of top deals and offers.

Hancocks’ 14 branches across the UK will host the event on Thursday 11 May from 8am to 8pm – it’s the second of four running throughout the year, sponsored by Perfetti and Nestle.

Hancocks said thousands of customers visited the first Sweetest Day event with registrations up on the day and all stores performing well.

The events are designed to celebrate customers and provide them with some of the best offers and deals available across the extensive range of brands and products.

Exclusive deals and offers will be available at the Sweetest Day events – these will not be available to shoppers online.

The unmissable events also offer a chance for customers to enjoy new product samples and stock up on seasonal must-haves.

Kathryn Hague, Head of Marketing at Hancocks said: “The first Sweetest Day event was a massive success with over 4,000 customers visiting the stores to take advantage of the deals and offers available.

“The in-store events are a great way for our teams to connect with new, existing and potential customers, and for the customers, a great way to see exactly what we and the brands we work with can offer them.

“Being able to bring our in store customers events across the country this year is a testament to all of the hard work of the teams across the business and the support from our retail customers.”
