Halewood introduces PMPs to J.J Whitley spirits range

Halewood Wines & Spirits has added new price marked packs (PMPs) to its artisanal J.J Whitley white spirits range.

The new J.J Whitley 70cl PMPs feature a £15.99 price point across a range of seven flavoured vodkas and gins, aiming to drive growth in the convenience channel. A £13.99 PMP will feature on the J.J Whitley 70cl Artisanal Vodka.

Halewood said impulse sales of the range performed strongly in 2019, with J.J Whitley Pink Cherry Gin and Raspberry Vodka variants proving best-sellers among consumers demanding pink gins and flavoured spirits.

“Consumers want to be more adventurous with their at-home cocktails and to be able to offer a variety of flavours when entertaining. However, many want this without loads of mixing hassle and expense. The J.J Whitley PMPs and exciting range of on-trend flavours enables convenience stores to meet this demand,” said James Stocker, marketing director at Halewood.

“From the intricate design of the labelling to the embossed glass detail, the J.J Whitley bottles stand-out on shelf to help convenience shoppers easily find an artisanal spirit. Combining this with the PMPs will further boost the range’s appeal and drive purchasing among shoppers who want great flavours at great prices.”

The £15.99 PMPs include Pink Cherry Gin, Strawberry Gin, Violet Gin, Blood Orange Gin, Raspberry Vodka, Rhubarb Vodka and Vanilla Vodka. All of the PMP spirits in the range are 38% ABV.
