Spar Dornoch held a grand reopening last week, following the takeover by local retailer Nicole Murray.
“It’s been a busy few months re-vamping the store and we hope customers will like the few changes we’ve made. We have introduced a great food-to-go range with coffee and bacon rolls, as well as Capaldis ice-cream,” Murray said.
“I was delighted to see so many people visit over the weekend and I’m looking forward to offering the best possible service to Dornoch.”
Murray, who also owns Spar Ben View Stores in Golspie, relaunched the store on 4 September with a number of deals and offers on grocery, beer, wine and spirits items, including free sampling and 100 goody bags which were given away.
Customers who visited were also able to enter a free prize draw to win a 24” TV and 2 x £50 Spar vouchers.
The store donated £200 to MFR Cash for Kids during the relaunch day. Allana Mackay, the Charity Executive said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive a cheque for £200 and strike up a fantastic partnership with Spar Dornoch going forward.”
Also available in-store is the lottery, a news and magazine range, ATM, a slush machine and Paypoint. The store is open Monday-Saturday 6am-9pm and Sunday 8am-8pm.
